Ireland-Dublin-Part I

"Sit In the Front"
Travel days can be exhausting, educational, fun and challenging. Every time I arrive in a new city I am anxious to discover what it has to offer. My flight landed in Dublin at dawn. Watching a city wake up and come to life is exhilarating. As I exited the airport I found the taxi stand and was directed to the second cab in line. After showing the driver the address I asked him where he would like me to sit. Without hesitation he replied....in the front....we like to talk to people! Oh, I immediately knew why fellow travelers always commented on the good natured Irish. What a fun way to begin my adventure!
Pour yourself some tea or something stronger and join me as I discover what Dublin has to offer.

Here is the reason I am visiting Ireland. Sam and my son, Kelle, met in college. Sam is now earning his master's degree in Dublin. Little did he know that when he invited me to visit I would say yes! His apartment happens to be above the Jameson Whiskey site! My Airbnb is not far from here!

The photos below are from a train trip to Howth near Dublin. It is a small fishing village on the Irish Sea. The Eye Of Ireland is just off the coast.
